Project Description

Developed this tool to support the generation of multiple VR experiences of a 360° video in two ways: 1) recording a user's experience of watching a 360° video in VR and later transferring this experience to other users by guiding them using visual cues; and 2) selecting an object of interest in a 360° video using a desktop application and creating a VR experience by tracking that object in the rest of the video. Designed and developed this tool in collaboration with a company focused on multimedia applications and 360° content generation. Later, conducted a user study to generate the user experiences of 360° videos and understand their experience of 360° VR-based entertainment.
